Manfred Lindau selected to receive 2018 Sir Bernard Katz Award
Professor Emeritus Lindau has been selected to receive the prestigious 2018 Sir Bernard Katz Award for Excellence in Research on Exocytosis and Endocytosis
Manfred Lindau, Professor Emeritus in Applied and Engineering Physics, has been selected to receive the prestigious 2018 Sir Bernard Katz Award for Excellence in Research on Exocytosis and Endocytosis of the Biophysical Society Exocytosis and Endocytosis Subgroup. Lindau has previously served as president of the subgroup.
The award was established in 2004 and has been awarded annually to outstanding scientists including 3 Nobel Laureates and numerous members of the National Academy of Sciences.
Lindau will give a talk at the annual Exocytosis & Endocytosis Subgroup Symposium this February, when the award will also be presented. The conference will be held in San Francisco, California.
